Unsure of herself, she applies and realizing she has taken the pen, she returns to bring it back. Upon returning she finds the sorority members making fun of all the applicants and her specifically. Feeling embarrassed and humiliated she runs out seeking some solace. She finds it in a fairy tale reading at a lecture that night which tells the story of Cinderella, though a darker version where the fairy godmother has ulterior motives.
